Random Informal Stargazing Session

Kagek, Sandy n Meiyan asked me to organise a star gazing session for them. Since Kagek is flying off soon, we decided to hold it on 29 Aug at my place.

FYI, e pool side becomes a decent stargazing spot at approx 10pm when the spotlights go off. It has a pretty good view of the southern sky. We set e meeting time to 9.30pm.

Skys were good from 8.50 and i told em to quickly come over. Meiyan's sis tagged along too and they settled down at 9.20.

Sadly, the skys weren't too good when they reached. the winds blew e clouds in and covered the sky at around 10.50.

On e bright side, they did get to see a good number of constellations.

Scorpio the Scorpion
Sagitarius the Archer
The Serpent Wielder
Grus the Goose
Aquila the Eagle
Cygnus the Swan
Lyra the Harp

Having seen all these, they were interested in seeing more. Meiyan's sis spotted a meteor by chance too. Now all of em wanna see meteor showers. Guess i'll bring them along for Leonids. Kagek will have to wait till Geminids...
