We Are The Champions - Part II
Following up on the previous post...
After taking lotsa photos after the prize ceremony, we went to kick/punch the sand bag at the corner of the room. (I'll post pict of the medal soon)
I refrained from using my frontal kicks and used only my turning kicks.
As expected, my turning kicks SUCK! LOL!
As for my punches... I didn't really throw that many.
Hitting sand with bare fists is harder than I thought.
I also didnt use my finger edge on it. It would be terrible if my fingers broke!
Then again, the school of karate I'm from isn't really fond of breaking stuff.
They go only for speed & accuracy which suits me just fine.
A clean hit is all u need to fall another - 1 hit, 1 kill.
Therefore, 3 hit = TRIPLE KILL! lol random XD
Also, while we were having fun kicking & punching away, one of the Junior Black Belts from ACSI came over and asked why bother to kick/punch. Sadly, he was ignored =p
Well, Aikido is not a perfect martial art.
The only way to make up for its flaws is to use skills from other martial arts.
Moving on though, we celebrated our success @ Secret Recipe, next to MOF.
And as usual, since there was LAMP STEW in their menu, I couldn't resist the temptation to try it! =p
WOOT, I'm just addicted to the taste of goat, lamb & venison(deer meat).
Mmmm... Now I feel like eating Kambeng Soup! (Direct Translation: Goat Meat Soup)
I recall there's a famous stall in Bukit Batok. Cant remember where though... Only recall it being close to a newly built CC. I'll try to look up the location & post back some other time...
EDIT: ITS CLOSE TO BUKIT BATOK EAST CC!!

Also...
@Sai: We had quite a spectacular opening - Rolling over obstacles.
Ayie (current vice-capt) rolled over 4 people.
Ben (Syl's bro & current capt) rolled over 5 people - could have done 6 if not for his wrist injury
Syl rolled over 6 people.
That scored quite a lot of points...
Our 2nd half was shitty but then again, all the other teams had completely shitty performances. So we win by default! XD
