REQUIEM: The Bloodymare!
Yes! Finally!
For all those out there who are sadistic to some degree, here's a FREE game for you!
But first, dont go & break the law. Its not worth the fine!

Intro:
Requiem is a MMORPG where the globe has been destroyed by wars, science & magic. You play as a cyborg developed by the government known as Lorenxic. They were responsible for the last war. When they were losing, they desperately seeked a new power and decided to combine the science, magic and power of two different races which went totally wrong n mutated much of the world's life. Now to correct their mistake, they are mass-producing temperions (cyborgs) to protect the 4 remanding races. (4th race to be released later)
Review:
Sounds sick & twisted eh?
Well in this game, there is ALOT of blood & gore.
If you're afraid of seeing blood & BODY PARTS being scattered across the screen, dont play it.
While it is nice to see enemies torn apart, do take note that your toon dies in a similar manner =)
AND it is definitely NOT nice to see your corpse wriggling miserably on the ground. Aside from that, everything fits into the 'HORROR' theme.
However, like every other Korean mmorpg, the greater horror in this game is the grind.
You will eventually have to grind like a mad dog just to lvl up and it is honestly a pain to die!
So try not to die especially when playing the Krunexia race.
Also, some of the classes have quite a few bugs which should be fixed when the new race comes.
Requirements:
Graphics Card with Pixel Shader 2.0:
You need a graphics card. Integrated chipsets dont work with this game.
Radeon X series should be ok but that's probably the min.
Direct X 9.0c
Again, this coresponds with the graphics.
1gb Ram:
It can get laggy so I strongly reccomend having atleast 1gb ram.
Better still if you can afford 2gb =)

Character Graphics/Animation: 9/10
Woot! I love the graphics & animations in this game!
Definately one of the best I've seen!
User Interface: 7/10
Not too shabby. However, sometimes the cursor bugs up.
Selecting the spot to travel to be difficult at times and cause chars to have trouble moving abt.
But lo & behold! Let's not forget that this is a free game =)
Background Graphics/Effects: 7/10
It screams LINAGE II!
The effects on the other hand are really good =)
When nightmare hour comes, the LANDSCAPE turns foggy.
It makes it hard to see stuff, especially the NIGHTMARE mobs that make it such a nightmare to travel alone!
Background Music: 8/10
Simply eerie.
Coupled with the bg effects when Nightmare hour comes, the music can really make your hairs stand!
Content: 8/10
Putting the bugs aside and the regular fixes, I dare say that this game is very unique!
You can:
1) Tweak your DNA to improve your skills's abilities/effects/duration, etc
2) Allow a demonic beast to posess you
3) Team up & fight for your lives vs Nightmare mobs!
Community: 7/10
Although I play on Hammerine (PvP server) where there is quite some drama, the community is generally quite nice aside for some wimps & griefers out there. On the other hand, it is a PvP server so expect to meet a couple of A-holes along the way =)
You are reminded that you can always guide them to the nearest resurection point ^^
Total Score: 46/60
Pretty good for a free game =)
